Legal Secretary
Braun Bond & Lomas is a well‑established law firm providing specialised civil litigation and dispute resolution services. We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our amazing administration team, which plays a key role in the success of the firm.
This role would suit either an experienced legal secretary with strong court knowledge, or someone with legal secretarial experience who is willing and motivated to learn more advanced court‑related tasks. You will be supporting a busy litigation practice and working closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands‑on position supporting both court‑related work and general office operations. Depending on your experience, you will either bring existing court expertise or be supported to further develop your skills in this area.
Key responsibilities may include:
Drafting court documents
Filing court documents
Court diarising and managing deadlines
Assisting with the preparation of court bundles
Assisting with billing
Opening files
Assisting with incoming mail
Answering the phone and assisting at the front desk as required
General monitoring and support of office operations
About You
We are open to applicants at different stages of their legal secretarial career. You may be:
An experienced legal secretary, with law firm experience and a sound understanding of court processes, or
A legal secretary with foundational experience who is keen to learn drafting, filing, court diarising, and bundle preparation
You will also bring:
Strong organisation and attention to detail
An interest in AI and how to best implement for increased efficiency
A willingness to learn and support the wider team
A collaborative approach to manage the workload
