Usha is an experienced litigator with a focus on construction litigation. She is passionate about the law and providing the best outcomes for clients in legal and practical terms.
Usha has appeared regularly at all levels of our Court system. She is also experienced in all forms of alternative dispute resolution including settlement conferences and mediation.
Prior to joining Braun Bond & Lomas, Usha worked at two large, national law firms in their construction and general litigation teams. Usha has experience advising and acting on negligence/professional indemnity claims, construction disputes, defamation, disciplinary matters (particularly in the health field), commercial lease disputes, franchise disputes, Coroner’s Inquests and all manner of commercial disputes.
More recently, Usha has developed expertise in arbitration and appellate work. She has also expanded her practise in construction law, including acting for parties involved in adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and providing advice in respect of construction contracts and construction disputes.
